1965 Show Room Condition Beetle Cabriolet
Here are a few details about the car, the body was restored by One on One Restorations , 900 hours went into the body, there are some very subtle mods that make this very special.
The chassis is as clean as the top of the car, with Porsche brakes all round, not just disks and big red callipers but also a 944 servo and master cylinder.
The interior and hood were stiched by Bernard Newbury with Beard seats and matching trimmed panels. It even has a eberspacher heater.
Built by John Maher the engine and gearbox are out of this world, the box is a Gene Berg 5 Speed with all the internals you would expect to hold up to 200+ hp.
The engine is a 2276cc DTA fuel injected motor with Jenvy throttle bodies, Python exhaust, Porsche fan and a lot more tricks inside.
2500 miles since completion it has been stored in an Airchamber, this car is immaculate.
