Does anyone know were I can locate a luggage rack for my 68 Beetle Convertable. (The one that attaches to the engine lid)!

If my memory serves me correctly they connect to the air grill above the deck-lid and then also on the bumper irons!

Right, this is a picture of a 62 RHD vert with a boot rack!

Looks like it attaches via fixings to the area above the decklid!:d

EEEKKKK!!!
Someones drilled the car bodywork in order to fit a Saloon rack.
Probably because 'vert racks are so much harder to find,but that's naughty.

They look to me like some repro all red US lenses that someone has drilled and fitted some blue dots into.
Maybe it would look cutting edge on a Heb? :idea: :lol: :d

But how do you open the engine lid on this car then?
