Does anyone know where you buy decent quality wide chrome trims for beetle running boards? I have seen some v nice polished stainless ones in the states but cant find them here

The only repopped one´s I´ve seen were ally, not stainless, so I´m not sure.

They look very nice! Not particularly cheap, but they look top quality. His running boards & rubber trim look very good too. Tempting... :wink:

Sorry, that link only takes you to his English language home page. Click on "Running Board Trims" on the LHS. You'll see he does both ally & s/steel.

i have a set on my 56 and also on my heb now

the trims should be 33mm, my original stainlesones are 33mm, my aluminium also
