Hey all, thought id give a shout as I contributed to the thread on vzi.

Been a few years since I had to sell the 1949 standard.

Have restored a 1970 1300, and currently have a 1967 lotus white 1500 and 1300 red 69 beetles. Looking to sell these 2 this summer and get back into split ownership.

Maybe this time tho, start out with something a bit more complete:lol:

Been offered a 356 at a very reasonable price, so may get that instead, as split prices are silly. I see you guys are into you 356's at the mo.

At around £10,000 this is a very good buy. If I had the space I'd be over to Belgium:!:

I would have to keep it outside which would ruin the great look it has.

I'd get it in running order but would not paint it – it looks great 😎

update...the 51 is now here and is amazing!!!! :shock:

kept that a secret didnt i!

original floors(no repairs!)
original htr channels(no repairs!)
matching no. engine,free and complete!
complete with a nest in the bonnet!

to do...

interior needs refitting
engine overhaul
few little patches to body
exhaust and htr boxes
consumables

WOW!
