Quite a few of us travelling Hull to Rotterdam on the Wednesday evening and then driving to BBT on the Thursday and on to Bad Camberg in Bob's convoy on Friday.

So very last minute, I decided I would go - but not in the '65, just drive over in the Passat. I took my daughter Kate with me, she was on photographic duties, while I shot some video.
While so many people I spoke to said that they weren't going to Camberg this time because it wasn't that good last time around (rain, too many lowered busses, English drunks, thefts on the field etc.), the BBT convoy was noticeably quieter.
But everyone I spoke to said how great the weekend was and that Camberg had its mojo back! And I'd agree, it was great! So glad I went in the end, and great to speak to so many people - old friends and new as well. :thumbup:
So now it's on to sorting through the photos and video...
See you all at Lavenham next year!!

Mrs. Vintagebug & I went to the 1st Murten show in 2014 and it was a great little show. Plenty of beautiful vintage VWs that I hadn't seen before and a lovely setting in an olde worlde town next to the lake. For me the one & only thing that let it down slightly was an almost complete lack of traders, so hopefully there will be more of those in 2018. Maybe it was because it was the inaugural show. But that certainly wouldn't put me off going again in 2018 :smile:
