Delivered in Greece on jul '53, 100% restored, has also the authenticity certificate(Stiftung AutoMuseum Volkswagen). Chassis is original...as well the engine(1953) and the split case  gear box(1953) are authentic... ...the most important of all is the color....VW equipped its cabrio kaefer vehicles with this color (maroon - L 55) for 2 years:1953-54....only 16 units out of 1,300 units(ttl cabrio production)
