Splits for sale seem to be getting less.

I found four today, 3 fakes and one full restoration.

I've had people call me in the off-chance that I may sell one of mine. If you have a Split-window Beetle hang on to it – better than cash in the bank (or even part-owning a bank), and you may not easily be able to get another

Maybe not so with Ovals as people continue to convert them to Splits

Has anyone converted a Split to an Oval (well since about 1962):?:

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery – see those Split-window values rise   870908.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.  2807174.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.  2739825.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.  2208270.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.

Yes I agree, I decided a while back to keep mine now just because its fun to have 2 green cars, 1 at each end of the deluxe span, 29 years apart! 1950 and my 79 kab as they are so totally different to drive! :d I must take a pic of them parked together sometime as they are a proper odd couple
