- Engine: 1600 dp (AE block - 1971-1972) with Pertronix (SVDA - Single Vacuum Dual Advance) distributor (much better than 009. It doesn't have the flat spot at low RPM's and helps engine run cooler) with electronic ignition. Blue anodized crank and alternator pulleys from JayCee Enterprise. Blue anodized AN oil breather tube with billet aluminum oil fill. Aluminum 1 1/2 quart extra oil sump. Oil changed every 1500-2000 miles.

- Transaxle: 4 spd. "Freeway Flyer". 1972 trans. that was converted from IRS to Swingaxle since it has side covers on both sides. It has the 3.88 ring/pinion with a .89 4th gear.

Everything works as it should.

It has the Birth Certificate from Germany with a list of all options and info from factory along with the date it was built and where it was first delivered.

It was taken on the Treffen cruise on the west coast in 2013. Driven from the Canadian border to the Mexican border and back to Indiana from there with no problems at all. We did 4500 miles in 12 days.

It does have a few paint flaws here and there.

Very solid with clean interior. Very well taken care of. Never smoked in. Always garaged. Would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. Runs and drives excellent. Clean title in hand.

$24,900 obo or possible trade for VW Bus camper model (Westfalia, etc) or ? If interested, please call or text 574-361-4957. Thank you.
