1951 - Split Bug, Split Beetle, VW Beetle - €52500

This VW splitbeetle started its live in Sweden. Sweden is famous for the quality of its classic cars. In winter they were mostly stored and the snowy roads where most of the times sprinkled with gravel instead of with salt. That saved a lot of old Volkswagens. With this one it is the same. We had the chassis and innerfenders iceblasted and it all looks just perfect. Superstraightfloorpans, innerfenders you can eat from. In 2016 we sold this car to the previous owner who let us do our thing on it. The engine was resealed and checked, new clutch, new fluids, new brakes, rebuilt starter, new tires and a lot of things have been cleaner, rebuilt or renewed. It also went to Hessich Oldendorf and back and did some classic sunday tours. Proven to be very reliable. Also many small and big pieces are still in place. You can see that this splitbug grew old together with all the components it was delivered with. Even the interior carries still its original upholstery. All expensive parts are there, the cyclon aircleaner, the correct 25hp engine, 16?wheels, clock, doorhandles, it is all there. No hidden surprises. The sandblasting shows its real quality.
