Hi Guys, I live in Uitenhage, South Africa. Home of the Right Hand drive VW's you boys & girls drive in the UK. A few years ago the VW Heritage Museum had a clean out of some models to make space for the Polo, Boro and Golf. I managed to secure a '57 Oval and a '62 beatle in beautiful condition. I was only after a 57 slitwindow barn door combi, but the 2 beatles were just to nice to say no too. I am looking to sell both of them as I do not have space to store them anymore. Any idea's on selling them and price I should ask.

That's a shame, still sounds like you were in the right place at the right time as the car's look lovely. Any more info on the Oval, in particular it's history and any welding before?

not sure what you mean by welding, I am assuming you are talking about body work. If so none I can see

Yes, repairs to inner wings, replacement heater channels, floorpan halves and so on.

Just had a climb under both bugs. Both are original, no rust.
