Nearly correct – it was me that Mrs Levy sold
Rattletrap to, but I had a real scramble to get it all the same, I'd have been gutted to miss that one. On occasion I would be parked-up next to
Rattletrap at a VW show with my split, MRT308, and so I got to know Tony Levy rather well. I'd always wanted to own
Rattletrap, the car had been a little special to me from my adolescent days (see in the
Rattletrap thread). And the thing with a DeLuxe Zwitter is having the aluminum trim around the split window, particularly on a black car, makes the split window stand-out, the best looking back-end of all Volkswagens. So I can understand why you want a black Zwitter, and wish you luck in acquiring one. However, make sure it has not lost the rear window trim as some have 😎

Rattletrap – the Volkswagen Beetle that has covered an incredible mileage equivalent to over 35 times around the planet :omg:
Running nifty since 1950… the King of Volkswagens:beer: Why not make friends with this famous little VW – he's on facebook! :d
