Did you really post that at 5.16 in the morning? When do you sleep?

I'm glad I helped with pointing you on that before everything was finally painted and assembled. While the old doors saw work during the 70s they maybe had got that wrong shape back then.
I'm looking forward getting a beer in Hessisch Oldendorf.
See you there.

Thanks Wolf,
We realy like your rear apron , very good quality, that good that we order a next one in a few weeks, we need it for a oval from a German friend ! That car was restored with the wrong apron a few years ago ! Now she decided to change the apron after seen the apron in the Heb !

Carsten,

I could not sleep, those doors where turning arround in my head !
The doors were already painted, but today we started to rebuild them, believe it or not the passenger door is ready now 😃 , tomorrow the other one !Also Tomorrow the body will be painted the second time , inside and outside ! The fenders, decklids and the doors  on friday !
next week the complete car will be painted a 3 time( just the outside) !
I forgot my camera at home today, so I'll post a few pictures tomorrow !

Thanks again ,

Guido

the doors...

Hey Carsten. You were right I have to admit it. I tought it was the angle on wich the pict was taken in the first place waused the steep angle.
I was still checking my picts to get a better view of the doors from Et s car. I should have known better.
I am glad you noticed it before final painting.
This is again a proof that nobody is perfect and surely I am not.

It whould be a sad thing afterwards that someone whould noticed the bad doors on a show and deciding that Et's car is a bad replica with "muchos plastic"

THis is the fun and great thing of the forum, You show something and everybody look at it with eagle eyes....
We all learn about it.
Carsten, I 'll buy you a beer to in HO., Maybe I offer one to Et and Gguido to...But on the other hand...? is that a good idea after seeing the picts from last meeting?

Greetings.

George,

ET will Remove a large painting from a Famous Dutch painter and Bondo artist as-well (Appel)in his living room and give it to me  ! The decklid will look better on his wall and that painting better in my hands, The decklid is not for sale, The painting is for sale if I Have it ! So maybe I'm able to buy a early cabrio and a Hebmuller ( that painting is like winning the lottery) So now you know who voted on the Karmann cabrio , Why not a hebmuller ?? Because you see them on every corner from the streets !
