At last today the Hebmuller was brought to the spray booth and will be sprayed tomorow morning! 😃 😃
Now that the garage of Opa is more or less empty there is room for other activities.
Et is still sitting down shuts up and drinks coffee! :roll:
Opa is joying ET and overlooking Guido restoring a standard split front bumper!
Working out bumps and the sanding of it is peanuts for Guido!!!
Except for one thing!
He is thinking selling that standard bumper as being a deluxe one so he can make more money out of it!! 😎
There is only one thing thats holding him of doing so!
You can not get bondo chromed!!!! :cry: :cry:
So he is desperate and during the day ran up and down destroying nearly everything he could lay hands on! :shock: :shock:
Except Opa 😳 because he gave him the idea to ask on this forum (read Tina) what the lacquer number of chrome is!!!
So he can paint them!!! ha:lol: ha :lol: ha :lol:ha

Remember they were already there before the heb, but your friend decided to work first on your bondo mobile! Its a shame we could not peal off the bondo otherwise you would have a nice sculpture for your garden ! :wink: When is the BBQ you prommised us, Don't forget I can't be there on saterday, and don't forget OPA's mediction :wink:

I could sell this bumper last week for 200 euro !
But I was thinking maybe one day, they will invent something to put chrome on bondo ! :roll: :roll:
And only one week later there is THE solution !
Probably the same bumper is for sale in a few weeks for 1000 euro !
Rechroming is expencive these day's

After three months of intensive work of real specialist Opa assisted by Armen and Guido (not me I had to sit down shut up & drink coffee) the Hebmuller is now painted for the first time after the terrible "glace job" of that Dutch so said "car restorer"!!! 😳
Pics will follow! :wink:
All I can say is that the Hebmuller is painted glossy black, just to see if there are still any imperfections!
So the Hebmuller will be sanded and all the tiny mistakes will be worked out! :?
Over and over again till perfection has reached!!! :shock: :shock:

Nice worh Guido but that door of a CJ Jeep wil not fit...

strange door for a heb? 

Somebody had to much "heavy fuel" according to the Dire strates.
But the car "looks" as good as previous in primer. :lol:
However now it is KEIHARD like the ductch guys whould love to say in their ads. We all know that this means Keihard as in metal and not the as in bondo hard. :oops:

:?: :?: We were using the original front and back edges from the original doors ! And the doors are fitting perfect at the windscreen posts !

When the angle should be wrong it has been wrong for a long time because the Hebmuller angles were used! :roll:

The doors used in the previous restoration did not fit nice because one door was made out of 5 o 6 donor doors out of the sixties an seventies!:?

What can you do with doors like that? Meassurments that don't fit! What do you do than? Just the same as they did with a Hebmulller and take split window doors! :shock:

All the door meassurments are ok than! To get the specific Hebmuller parts in in we used a secret "thing" (read as person Opa!) with know how, skils and expierience! :wink:

When Opa says there is no problem then there is no problem so ET and Etzhold1 don't have a problem either! 😳 😳
