is it me or things really getting expensive recently???

i missed an oval on ebay a few weeks ago lhd in black and very original which went for between 7-8k!

there are also two rhd oval with no engine via a dealer who wants 3700 each and they dont even have engines

then today on ebay this 58 is over 10000,nice but 10k plus???

It's a good hobby and the cars are among the best, sought after world-wide, so they are going to keep increasing in value.

The rise in values of the oldies is having a knock-on effect on the 1970s cars values to some extent, as those who can no longer afford to get into '50s cars look to the later Beetles.

Even knackered old Rattletrap is probably worth more than he was last year 😎

As for selling Rattletrap – he's my most prized possession, the favourite of my collection. If he's worth £2.50p or £100,000 it makes no odds – he's NOT ever going up for sale :evil:
