What! they stripped it of all the accessories and just left you with the cardboard box, that's all wrong, that is:wink:

At what point was the sunroof fitted Will?Must have been earlyish.

Sunroof would have been early/mid 80's.

Heres the car in France in the mid 80's (still mainly OG paint, pre repaint), and it has the sunroof then, bar in brown. The one on it now has just been coloured over the brown.

Although a shame it was let in, the guy who did it also did a great job at the 'restoration' (not your normal 80's hack job, bar the snowflake rear lights).

Also note that in those photos the back corners bend down, in line with the body. God knows how, the holes dont line up. Believe me, I've tried...

That's quite an "arty" photo George. Where did you find it? (I mean the photo, not the car).

Get round there quick & rescue the Pope's Nose before it gets wet...

A guy told me the car was in a small wood in a place called Roughmussel Shawlands, where ever that is.

I know where Shawlands is (it's near me), but not Roughmussel Shawlands. But I don't think they're the same place...

Edit:- I've checked a bit further, & Roughmussel & Shawlands are 2 different places, but both are near to me.

Yep, looks like it John! Not to worry, it gets stored away and brought back out in the future for payback...

So, to answer my question George- where did you get the pic from. I actually think it's a good photo (or is it photoshopped?).
