On May 13th, 14th and 15th 2011, the Original Flat4 Drivers Club invites you to discover the marvels of the Champagne region in France for the very first week-end organized by the club.
Among various landscapes and oenology, the Champagne region has an unforgetable week-end in store for you, full of surprises...

This week-end will take place during 3 days: from friday late in the afternoon to sunday after the lunch, so that everybody can drive back home safely, with no stress.

Program:
Friday 13th: arrival of the participants
Saturday 14th: departure in the morning for a whole day in the vineyard, but we won't say more about it...
Saturday 14th evening: club's dinner at a very special place... A dinner placed under the sign of the French wine!!!
Sunday 15th: departure in the morning to a very historic motoring place.
Sunday 15th noon: light lunch on place, before taking the way back home.

ATTENTION: for some practical reasons, only 50 vehicles will be able to participate in this exceptionnal week-end! There won't be any selection: the earlier you'll send back your registration, the more chances you'll have to be part of the 50.

If you want to bring a vehicle on a trailer (military for example), there will be some place to park the trailer safely during all the week-end.

We have chosen to organize it "all inclusive", so that the only thing you'll have to do is: enjoy your week-end!!! We have prepared a very local program, made of driving through the vineyard, cellar visiting, and gastronomy! The price, 60€ per person, icludes friday and saturday diner, sunday lunch, saturday and sunday breakfasts and a visit of one of the most beautiful Champagne cellars. Saturday lunch will be a picnic brought from everyone's region (or country!) for more conviviality.

Special coachbuilts on VW basis (Rometsch, Hebmüller, Dannenhauer & Stauss, Beutler, etc..)
Porsche 356 from 1948 to 1965
Vintage and Vintage Speed only --> no lowered cars, custom, cal-lookers, or rat-lookers!
No other wheels than the original ones!

Either Hotel in the town center with closed parking for the night and cheaper prices for the VW group, or camping, also in town.

So far, it looks like a belgian meeting in France rather than a french meeting with our belgian friends participating!!! :omg: 11 of the 15 cars registered come from Belgium!!! And I'm still waiting for the confirmation and/or the registration of at least 5 belgian cars!!!

The good: there should be some good belgian beers in the trunks... :beer:
The bad: well... is there a bad?... :d

We had a wonderfull sparkling Champagne week-end in France with our host Remi and his parents. A big thank you for showing us a nice countryside of France in the hart of Champagne region. A small group attended the show, but instead the fun was huge.
