I don't see that the seller is trying to deceive anyone with that. Its a post 1967 car and interesting as it represents the fad at that time of 'poshing up your humble VW Beetle'. I recon it'd be worth getting roadworthy and keeping as is as an example of the period.:smile:

Anyway, it'd be easy to ditch the ugly bits and make a decent runabout out of it, but it looks like it's going to fetch way more than I'd shell out for a LHD, non-running 1302... No surprise there.
