Anyone know where I can get a pair of clear plastic front seat covers like the cars left the factory with? Does anyone happen to have some or does anyone know of anyone who makes them?

I don't believe anybody makes repro ones and finding a decent used set will be nigh-on impossible. Good luck with your search!

I've had a couple of 60s Beetles with orignal seat clear plastic seat covers fitted. From what I recall, they are most probably joined along the seams with heat rather than being stitched.

Thanks for the link. I was thinking of getting an upholsterer to make some for me so I'll give this bloke a try. They don't need to be exact copies of the factory ones, I just want to protect my original seats but still want to be able to see them :smile:
