THis weekend, my good friend Filip, picked up my latest score near Bad Camberg. He had left over space in his westfalia.
I bought it over internet with only one pict.
A Metz Fire brigade waterpump from 1963...surprise as I came home I found out the engine was 1960 and almost NOS. Aand if it is not NOS....it has not run much as under the valve cover the head is like new. The oil is brown and not black, a full tank of petrol included and it was a bargain price.

Only missing the airfilter, the distributor and coil and a battery as the generator is a full working one and not as most of the 122 engines where it is empty with a magneto ignition.
The best part is the vw industrial engine plate on the cover....:omg: and the wienerwurst drip pan:rofl:  IMG_0140s.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.  IMG_0142s.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.  IMG_0146s.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.  IMG_0141s.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.  IMG_0145s.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.  IMG_0154s.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.

Hi deacon...thanks for the helping hands. You're the second to ask for the badge.
How was the excursion in Belgium?
Greetings. Peter.

Maybe Pascal, Maybe...but he sold them for the asking price.
You know the game...to sell something, you need to pay the price as a buyer. negociating is ok. I understand your point but Filip is hard to deal with. He knows what he want and did not want to sell it. I pushed him a bit but with no luck.
Next time better.

I still can not believe it is over.
