Well, this is how my interior looks now. :cry: No need for antimot spray.
Last Friday night my upholstery shoppe had a fire. Devastating.
Luckily the poor oval just got lots of dirty water and black smoke over him.
Unbelievable little damage to paintwork! Some minor spots that can be taken care of I think (hope).
But the poor René can start all over again.:(

Oof. 😮 That's bad news. Could have been a lot, lot worse of course, but still a rotten thing to happen. Fingers crossed it comes right for you.

A friend of mine had a 1302 Cabrio being painted when the bodyshop it was in caught fire one night. All the cars there got burnt out except for the Beetle. The car was in the middle of the workshop, and somehow it avoided any significant damage whatsoever. It seems the fire spread along the edges of the place, and the flames literally went over and above it. Odd stuff, but he's not complaining.
