How is a vintage car owner meant to judge when a bit of welding required is a structural safety issue or just an annoying hole:?:
I'm pleased with the MOT exemption, (well Jon is with his '56,:d Old Blue's a '68:x), but there are so many unanswered issues. Like what about the pre 60 car that is heavily updated with modern running gear, brakes etc, and only a pre 60 body and part pre 60 chassis. These cars are already getting tax exemption, which seems all wrong to me.
