The seats and door cards should be herringbone. I did have a complete and very good original fabric interior (not rusty or rotten) in beige herringbone out of a 54 but sold it for £350 a while back.

I am sure Owen has the correct rear seat, just the frame, and possibly even another original interior, but if you are going to recover it anyway, just re-use your original seat frames!
I dont know when/if the rear seat changed frame design? Anyone else?

But you can buy correct new fabric here and it is an excellent match, a friend has some!

Sorry, but that's not what I was trying to say. 😞

I was just trying to put across the fact that it sometimes gets very difficult to understand what is trying to be said. If I upset Chris, which I obviously have, then I apologise. This was not the intention and I was by no means trying to be clever. In fact I know my spelling is not the best but I try to use capitals and punctuation marks to make my posts as easy and clear as possible.

The last thing I intended was to start some bitching on this site as it is one of the friendliest around and I for one would like to keep it that way.

Once again, my apologies for any offence that was taken. I will edit and remove the offending post if requested.

Chris
