Yep!

Would be a shame if it's more than just a 'mock-up' for some photos though!

It would make more sense to start with Dirk's panels and a rough split or early oval if you want to build a Heb-rod. Bob could sell #56 to someone who would appreciate it for more than enough to finance a nice replica rod.

Hi Rob - it`s the "car" I got this year - but you know,you start to get/put something right, then you see another thing,...then there is that other piece that you have to fix,...and,while we just are at this point,let us quick do that other work....etc.etc.etc.
Thanks God there is Bad Camberg this year,so we have a date to get that beetle run :lol:

As Old nr 56 is getting pimped to blow everybody's socks of this summer; I 've got a rumour that they will cut the metal to expose the 48 IDA carbs and stinger exhaust..., The front will be cut to to put a radiator in ..It should be getting a wasserboxer :shock:
Someone who can know , promissed me to give the whole front pannel because they wil use a plastic flip front....
