hi all, i am new to vw's and need to know if the stock carb in 65 was a solex h30/31 pict. i need to track down a rebuild kit for it and that number doesnt cross to anything that autozone has in there computer.

The carb for 1965 was the Solex 30PICT.

If you,re having trouble getting a rebuild kit,try Karmann Konnection,here in UK.

They don,t just do parts for Karmann :)
