Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a 6 volt car alarm?
If it is, who makes them and where can you buy them?

Hi, 601
I do not know if there are such things on 6 volt but:
- Put somewhere an obvious not hidden but secret switch to the starter wires and-or ignition coil ( like a regular beetle switch).
- Find a electrical fuel valve on 6 volt (they exist) and put that in the fuel line to the engine.
- Buy a sperrwolf gear shifter lock and mount it.
-If you leave the car alone on a meeting ask a neighbour you know to watch your car.
- Buy a strong chain and a lock and hang it on to a good iron obstackle, a public street light or another car.

To resume: make it the thief as difficult as possible to steel your car.
If he see the effort you make , he will go to the next object that is easyer to steel . A thief is a lazy person.

Hello 601,

In the past there devices on the market that switches 6 Volts into 12 Volts, usually used for radio's!
I don't know but I think that when it was possible to let a 12 Volt radio play on a 6Volt battery maybe it is doing trick too for a car alarm too!!!
When I bought my 1964 Cabrio I had such a "thing" mounted!

 Aren't some motorbikes 6v? You might be able to get a 6 volt motorcyle alarm, although I have no idea how they work...

Buy on Ebay the watch dog of Guido and put him in your Hebmuller :!:
The dog is already used to sit in and watch over cars like that!! haha
