hello

im looking in to making a "vintage speed engen "
i have to engen a 1200 and a 1500 inn nead of reabuild.
i,m wondering if i do the 1500 the orginal plan whas to do the 1200
but is inn need a lot of work.
and i have 1600 pistons and good heads.
ok i nowe is not a 36 hp engen. sorry

this is what im thinking
eagel 100 cam
singel ported heads compression ~9:1
dual carbs ( somthing :roll: )

my gool is reliability

so what do you think

any hints or tips is welcom

A mild 1600 with some small twin carbs will be fun to drive. Single port heads look more "old timey" though.

You could try this...

Riechert Tuning Twin carbs. 

I´m sure there are other kits too, or you can use a 1500S Notchback carb set-up, if you can find one.

if you want to run your kit, you should first solve the problem with the angle of the carbs becaus if the should run in the shown angle ( not 90deg to the horizontal) they would permanent overflow with fuele or will get less fuel...

the line betwenn the manifolds makse the synchronisation easyer, and also "preasure balance line"
