Autostadt AND VW Museum

Hi Everyone

Need your help, just putting final touches to my itinerary for my trip to HO 2009.

Just a little confusion on my part which I need your help with.

Will be visiting Autostadt of course and would like to visit the VW museums as well which I believe to be in the Wolfsburg township itself, ( not part of Autostadt ).

Can someone please let me have the contact www link to the VW museum in Wolfsburg ( not Autostadt )?

The 'old' museum is about 1/2 a mile from the Autostadt, it's easy to find and there is a map here

Try and allow a full day for Autostadt and up to half a day for the museum.

Does anyone have any idea of the opening times etc, cost to get in Euros.

Just been chatting with someone in South Island ( NZ ) who seems to think that the place is only open on the weekends ?

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the Autostadt? Is it the museum, or is it something completely different? I was thinking about going to the museum while at the Hessisch show- how far is it from Hessisch? And do you need to book it in advance or can you just turn up?
