Can somebody tell me if the seal used around the hart of a hart tail was made out of plain rubbe or another material?[-x
According to my knowledige a sort of kit was used to seal them!!
Right or wrong thats the question!!
Who knowes it for sure?:thumbup:

Don't think they were actually rubber E.t.
More like the material the door handle seals was made from.

Factory assembled the hearts with oldfashion putty/kit,
Spare parts/aftermarket were sold with a kind of rubber/foam seal.
