I need to obtain a 30hp barrel/piston & ring set for my 1954 oval. Can someone tell me the piston diameter I require or any leads to obtaining a set

I'm sure there are lots of VW-shops around in the UK. They carry them, for sure.
Are you looking for flat pistons standard 76,95 mm --> no problem,
If you are looking for the early dished types 77 mm--> problem because obsolete.
But they are still out there somewhere, I'm looking for these too.

BTW 30 HP = DIN/36HP = SAE. Same engine output.
