Looks like the brain dead are attaking the web site 😳 This happend on another site i go on and had to be taken off the net to sort it out. Dont know how it all works but if something can be done now to stop it befor it takes over :omg: Andy W

Thanks six-o-one, if you send a report dose that go to the server or to a modarator ?? If it gose to a modarator can we just report the spam like that instead of posting on a board. Cheers Andy W

There has been an increase recently, no idea why - but yep it is a pain. We had some automated ones a little while back, but a forum update sorted those - these seem to be real people taking the time to register and post. If you see a spam post, click the 'report' link on the bottom right of the post, then it would help a lot.

The Samba still gets them every day but if they physically have to register to post their spam they're amateurs.

Most pros use automated systems that auto-register poorly protected sites and they can swamp a site in short order.

It's easy to introduce a simple extra step in the registration process to keep out the automated registrations...which I'm sure Rob has.
