please help, we need to find two engine compartment side panels, for our 1965, 1200 beetle. we have checked with all of the usual suppliers and can't find any, if anyone has a number/ contact details of a supplier, it would be much appreciated.

Are you referring to the engine compartment "Firewall Insulation" seals? :?:

If so, it is possible to purchase a reproduction kit but I'm not sure if you want to order it from a company here in the States. If you are interested this is their web address - www.800luvbugg.com. BUT you would have to purchase all three pieces of which the sides are what you are looking for.

Or maybe I just don't understand what you are referring to.
