That's actually a very interesting Kubelwagen. It was one of the 500 or so built after the war while the factory was in the hands of the British and before the Russians cut off delivery of bodies from the Budd plant which was in their sector of Germany. If you read thru his notes he mentions that the build quality is very low and several panels appear home made.
As one of the first post-war cars it represents an important link in the survival of Volkswagen. I hope that whoever buys it respects its history and doesn't repaint it to look like it fought in North Africa.
