Not sure if you can help me... I have a 1966 Type 34 Karmann Ghia and my (now ex) girlfriend lost the keys...

I can get a locksmith to make new ignition and door keys but he needs to know the 'blank' number for the ignition and the doors... I have searched in vain...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The full key number is stamped on the door locks and the ignition lock but you need to remove them to find it. Will probably be an A or K followed by a number.

These companies should be able to help with blanks and key cutting...
