I have a query...I am interested in a 1959 Standard Sunroof which I have located. Apparently, the VW museum certificate says that it once was L14 Reseda Green/Mignonette. That colour was a 1959 colour but for Deluxes. As far as I know, the only two available colours for 1959/1960 Standards was either L225 Jupiter Grey and the colour on this 1960 as shown below.
If this is not Reseda Green though, what is this colour called?
Bob Wilson's book mentions an L344 Rush/Ried Green. Could this be the colour below? Or is it L14 Reseda/Mignonette?

No mention of L14 Reseda Green/Mignonette though.

The birth certificate for my Jupiter Grey '58 says it is Pearl grey! :?

Hello,

https://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/paintcodestype1.php

Judging from the foto the colour looks very simular to my 59-er : L 346 mango green ( see picture )  7403.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.

Yes but the important point is wether your car is standard or not.
Doesn't seem to be with the chrome strip in the windscreen. Am I wrong?

Though not standard, It is interesting that your beetle is mango green, I always thought mango was a bus only colour and had never seen it on a uk car, yet apparently there are quite a few Mango beetle's in Sweden for example.
Mango is such a cool colour.

re. reseda standard.
There is a mention of Canadian standard Reseda at the bottom of this page?:

oooh I like this thread, I can keep posting pics of my cars 😃

Here is a pic of a Mango oval I used to own, as far as I know Anna you are correct mango wasn't a bug colour, the charts I posted a link to in the other Reseda thread will confirm.

This oval was originally stratos silver. Saw it for sale again recently at twice the price I sold it for
