Can somebody of you "split nerds" tell me why the outer rail of the drivers seat was raised by 15mm in 1951:?:
This did not happen with the outer rail of the passenger seat :!:
Where was that done for :?: Anybody :?:

Just the drivers outer side was raised.

I've been told it is to make the driving position more comfortable as the pedals aren't really centered in front of the seats. I don't have any facts on why though..
