Wow,
The one and only Hamburgerheb for sale..
Nothing updated since auction november 2005....maybe the air in the tires and oil in the engine....Oh and the price also..

I'll keep an eye on that one...
Not an easy resto. Needs a new split dash, 4 wings and grooved bumpers and trim.
Great project..
It is however a real heb . Aufbau nr was not at the car in 2005???
Bjoern found out what nr the car got...

Greetings.

Ok, the car is not a maching car. But it has no rust and it is based on its original chassis and has its original title. At www.bugnet.de, someone offers a split-front for low money, to organize the orinigal fenders, bumpers and taillights etx are not complecated to get. I am sorry, that Carol will sell it - he is one of the guys who can restaure it . This car is one of the last chances, to get a real Hebmüller.

In the 1970s, a few Hebmüller were modified. Former owners sister or ot the Hambuirg Heb had also a modified Hebmüller. I remember a telephone call in the early 1990s, when she asked me, if I would by her car. I surched for old spare parts in our local newspaper and she asked me, If I even would buy complete cares. The car was a 1952 Hebmüller, she bought it in 1964 in Hamburg and during the years, the car changed more and more into a modern beetle. Painted in metall-flake-green, with "elephant-feed"-Teillights and 1975 bumpers, the car loocked very intersting. In 1982, she had a badly crash and decidet to resaure it in its original condition. In reason of an old Auston Martin DB in her Garage, she sold the car. I have no idea, why I didn't bouhgt it - the price was round about 5.000 Euro. I offered the car to my friend Joszy from Amsterdam, but during the same time, I have heard about a rare 1952 Dannenhauer, so even Joszy didn't bought it.

Another modified Hebmüller is the "Dauth-Hebmüller" Mr. Dauth (?) was very interested in a Habmüller - but these cars were gone of the marked. In the end 1970s, he found a 1949 Hebmüller, today, a nice project, in the 1970s only a wreck. So he bought a 1969 convertible and modified it into a hebmüller. The "Gute Fahrt"-magazine published an article of this car in the early 1980s and Mr. Hebmüller was so amused about this car and certifieted it as an originale child of Hebmüller.

The car was sold in the early 1990s to a Volkswagen-Collector of Braunschweig, who still has it in his collection.  7437.jpg You have insufficient rights to see the content.

I think you could make that Heb look a lot nicer without spending a fortune on it.

Front apron, bumper mounts, bumper and bonnet.
Rear bumper mounts and bumper.
A set of 4 wings with lights.
16" wheels and a dashboard if you realy want!

Then, hope for some sunshine so you can keep the roof down!

Hello Bjoern,
I agree. Nice to know, that some of them stay near.
Let's hope, that he will find all the parts needed for restoration. (first of all a good correct '49 pan).

that some people always thinks to know things better. The car is correct <pan>papers are also correct. When people have not the money for buying one original hebmuller, they write wrong things about it in the internet. Sad! 😞 😞 😞

question:
Is on this forum somebody who can exact say where the heatercommand is placed on the tunnel on a chassis younger as may 1950?
I know where it must be on a 49 -50 chassis.

If so , compare that with the chassis on the pointed Heb.
In 2004, I have written on this same forum that the Vin was most doubtly re-punched .
It is still a hebmuller carosserie . The back part, roof , front windowframe and doors are OK. :!:
The rest is a big Question from what car it is. :?:

To answer your Q: The winner is the one who bought it in 2004 for a fair price. 😎
