One or two of us have started to save up for Hessisch Oldendorf 2009 - all the way from New Zealand.
Planning to make a month of it and visit Wolfsberg - factory, etc etc.

Will be great to catch up with all you mad lot on these forums.

Have a great winter, think of us down in the South Pacific ...... :lol: :lol:

Hi,
I'd love to visit NZ sometime in the future. What would be the best time to catch some VW shows and clubs etc?

Only one major show each year which is at Easter - Next year 2007 it is in the South Island, Christchurch.

I was at the Takapuna 2001 Nationals in my NZ'63 :D
We have been talking recently about shipping a really good late rare vw camper out from UK for a few months driving round NZ and leaving it there to be sold in NZ. 1 coming that way for a change! Trouble is, Easter 07Camberg, 08Lavenham, 09Hessisch..! Might have to be 2010! :shock: 😃

Yes would be really good to have a Volkswagen come this way for a change – mine you we have had a few imports from the UK years last few years, seems more and more of you guys what to leave your shores and head this way,,, !!!!

We must have seem each other at Takapuna – did you have a silly hat on ?

Anyway this weekend we have the annual Coast to Coast run about 50 Volkswagens of every description taking part, let’s hope the weather keeps good, a mild 28 to 30 degrees would be nice.
