Yes, you're right. That does about says it all!
The Type D had a torsion bar front Axel, a swing axle transmission and rear engine of course. It also was one of the first cars developed to have a limited slip differential in the rear (a Porsche Design). Hmmm, didnt Kubelwagens have them too? Sounds familiar doesnt it.......?
