Hi at last im getting somewhere with the build up of my '49 chassis, its not far off now. Before i bolt it all together i just want to clarifiy the running gear colours. I assume EVERYTHING is painted L41 chassis black? with the exception of the gearbox?
Sorry its a bit of a simple question, but as some of you know this is still unfamiliar stuff to me.
Nothing to really report on the progress of the '49 restoration since i last posted, as ive been working on the 1968 mk1 escort for the last few weeks. Not all bad as Ive hopefully got an agreed sale for £2800 (paid £600 for it just before xmas), which contarry to some peoples beliefs on the samba, i think will buy me a very nice original engine!? of course correct me if im wrong :lol:
