Rear tack strip - where did you get yours from?

I'm at the point of reattaching a new rear tack strip but the 3-piece item supplied via KK doesn't fit very well. Especially the side pieces. See pics below:

I assume the quality of these parts is not good as I was expecting a far better fit. Is this correct or are all the repro Cabrio wood pieces like this and you have to work with them?

Would be very interested to know what others experiences are and where you got your wood from if you've replaced it.

Don't want to be a smart arss(but you deserve it, because of what you are doing to that car)
But that is a Bow,the tack strip is the thin chrome strip you will attach when your roof is done.

your wood bow looks perfect to light a camp fire :lol: . I´ve got my bows on
stock rihgt now. You can be sure... they´ll fit :wink: Can bring them
to Hessisch.

Maybe it's his just car that has tensed up not wanting to be redone to non-stock condition.
If he would do a stock resto, the car would relax and the wood he has would fit perfectly. :d :lol:
