RTC296 - Seen in Bad Camberg 98- owned by John Maxwell since about 1462.
547BTE - Seen in Bad Camberg 98- owned by Simon Parkinson. His dad bought it new in '57.
PSK758 - Seen in Bad Camberg 98

HSU681 - Dave Cantle's old Belgian Zwitter, maybe in the US now?
506JTR - Cabrio - still doing the rounds and seen at shows from time to time.

JFX 892 was my Black '56 Oval. I took it to Action '82. I'd love to see the pictire of it!

It is now owned by a member of the Historic VW Club but I haven't seen it since I sold it in 1983...

I would like to add to this list:

VVS 203 - '56 Standard Oval in olive drab, see the thread Army Oval

I managed to track down the second and third owner, but have not found the current owner yet. Who knows where VVS 203 is today?

ULN 444 used to belong to a man called Anthony Ripley who lived in Chiswick, West London. That, I remember from around 1991/92 as I lived close by at the time.
MTR 900 belonged to Alf Lilley in Stoke on Trent, again around the early 90s.
MCG 120 was a homemade Chris Clarke RHD conversion.

XDD521 got cal-looked. I last saw it bouncing around the middle lane of the M6 at 50mph about 3 years ago.

Don't know where MTR 900 is now, but I remember the story about it being 'unrestored' as being a bit questionable at the time

Always remember Dave saying he bought it from the owner's son who was never allowed in the car with his shoes on. The owner kept a record of every journey made, every time he put petrol in it and so on and it was so original the paint had been taken down to the primer near the Wolfsburg crest where the owner had polished it so much.

Of course it wouldn't be done today but for me it was ruined after Dave sold it - what with the addition of whitewalls, fender skirts, other accessories and I believe some repainting.

MTR900 Now lives up North in nearby Pontefract. Still in good condition and it attended the Vw show at "Mighty Dub Fest" in Newcastle last weekend.
