Is anyone planning on making the crossing on Friday? There is a small Sussex contingent planning to make the trip on the Friday and it would be good to hook up with anyone else who wants to join us...

I'm making the ferry crossing on Thursday at 8am from Dover to Dunkerque, so if anyone is planning on making the journey then look out for a dark blue (U-Boat blue :wink: ) Oval.

Is there a programme of events for the show? This is the first year I'm going and my car isn't registered so would like to know what's going on.

You turn up, look at cars in a field, look at all the stuff in the swapmeet that has had it's price doubled for the Americans, go to the beer tent - drink some beer, watch some local German dancers, listen to some German speeches (cheer when you hear them mention your country). And thats about it...

Ferry booked. Leaving on the 08.00 Dover- Dunkirk on the Wednesday.

Anybody else heading over then? I'll been in a green ragtop '53.
