another 12hr day.

spent the morning wet flatting and mopping the wings, as well as a few misc areas.

then took a look at the brakes, as the pedal was a little spongy, and on closer inspection had some fluid leaking from the master cylinder. turns out the rubber inlet bung wasnt seated properly with the inlet pipe, all fixed and system bled.

also sorted out a snagging throttle cable, then spent some time with the wheels off cleaning the arches.

stripped and repainted the wiper arms, and also sorted a few other detail jobs.

alan blocked the doors, before a reprime, and as i left at 9pm he was just filling the gun with the colour.....

the car still needs a polish on the outside, so thats tomorrows job, as well as fitting up the doors, just in time!

Oof. I wouldn't want to be putting window scrapers in at the last minute! It's looking absolutely fantastic. The '67 model really is one of those instances where VW got it absolutely bang on. I look forward to (hopefully!) seeing it for real, tomorrow.

Good to see the car (looks great) in the flesh and meet you today

Well? How did you do?

Shame the three 67's in the line up weren't all parked together. Yours, Roys and LT's were the star cars personally
