Cranck start was used with standards!
How about cranck start with Hebmullers? Hebmullers were made out of standards!
So normally they would have crank start too!
Or am I wrong?
Anyone?

According to my sources the crank as standard equipment was discontinued in October -49 but was available as asseccory equipment up to early -51. In other words there were rear aprons both with or without the hole during that time. Both for standards and deluxes.

I thought most Swedish cars came with the hole for the handcrank?

I know I've seen the hole on more than a couple OG deluxe splits.

Hello guys

If it is like Hebster wrote , then I Have to say that it is correct for an early hebmuller with crank and on later hebs it is an option.

That is like I found out ....the highest Hebmuller body with crank I can see in my picts is a red heb with 354 as bodynr.
bigger body nrs are: or replaced younger rear aprons or original aprons with no holes.

I also must say that from the cars I have picts, there are cars without a pict from the rear apron.
If anybody can show us a bigger bodynumber above 354 with a hole for a crank i whould be pleased.

Thank you for your input. greetings Peter

Not all of them did have the hole. As I said before it was an option from -49 and later, and did also come on some occasionally even without the crank..... I have a deluxe -51 with crankhole. Cannot confirm if mine had a crank as both the engine and possible crank are missing. It does have the crank support on the bumper though..
