Recently found the two missing front bumper badges from the days before
Rattletrap's big smash. These I presumed went missing along with the bent panels and bumpers after the crash, prior to rebuild. One is for the
American Servicemen Automobile Club, and the other Tony's
VW Owners Club of GB badge. I've owned
Rattletrap for almost seven years now, and having been through it many times checking for the repairs and so on, you'd think I knew what was in the car.
The badges appeared stuffed in the glove box recently leaving little room for anything else, so hardly hidden from sight. I really do not recall seeing them before, as if I had, I'd have fitted them back there and then as I want to get the car as much to when Tony had it as possible. I know I'd opened the glove box a few times since I first got the car, as the glove box door was jammed shut and I had a task getting it open, (the scratch mark on the door from where I slipped with a screwdriver is still evident). I have also used it since:?
Spooky:omg:
Here they are now back on the car,
And here is an old picture when they were on it back in the day.
