YBT 555 rhd 59 beetle

has anyone ever come across the above beetle before?

its been modded a bit recently so i cant post pics but wondered if it had crossed anybodys path before?

it was,and it will be in my garage at the weekend!

havent got any pics other than ebay ones,plus i dont want to upset rob :wink:

it has a few too many mods to go stock,1641 twin 40s,welded box,narrowed beam but its one of the cleanest cars around so im happy

just wondered if anyone else had seen it/owned it in a past life

picked her up today!

naughty bits first,it has a 1641 with twin 40s and pulls great!

got lots of looks as i rumbled along in traffic on m25,more than my stocker!:shock:

brakes are a bit too spongy and quite a lot of travel so that a must,semaphores dont work either due to being 6v.does anybody know if the voltage reducers they sell at cool air work or am i best off getting 12v ones

found receipts for over 6k of work a ten years ago so very solid

also got lots of invoices with peoples addresses,letters will be sent!

comes with old style logbook as well that details very first owners so reg no is original and started out in hull,before trips to south london and rustingdon!

am gutted winter is nearly here...
