So when I escaped from hospital I had some time on my hands and was getting bored (still too ill to go back to work or the garage). A friend suggested I got a model kit and built that, I haven't built a kit for years and years - but it was fun.

I had all the same problems that I remember having when I was younger, finger prints in paint that wasn't dry yet, bits that I'd glued on falling off shortly after, glue on the glass etc. I really wish I could do it better...

Anyone else done any models that they care to share?

I was never any good at stuff like this
Is frequently found with a glass of wine in one hand and a vintage vw part in the other
