The day we delivered the car to our friend Chris !
He has repaired some scratches we made with hanging the doors in the car     !
For the bad guy's  the car is back in his garage now, so don't drive to Chris!
BTW The dog from Chris is even bigger than my dog, Et asked chris not to feed the dog as long his Heb was in his shop !
The dog attacked ET when we picked up his car ! Only a few scratches in his face ( he looks better now) !
The dog was trying to grap ET's ass, but thats was not possible because ET is a lazy guy he's alway's sitting on his ass !

Hi Guido,

Haven't seen you around for a while, welcome back!

 I thought the car would be a lot further along by now, looks pretty much the same as it did before H.O doesn't it??

It's nice to see it again after all these months in hiding! 😎

My dear Rob are you sick to your eyes! :?

As everybody can see the Hebmuller has already his doors, his bonnet, his rear deck lid and his wheels with NOS "General" tyres mounted!

It is just like Etzhold1 said "that lazy guy is always sitting on his ass!"
When you are forced to depend of other people you must be patient!

You can not demand that those people only are going to work to my "old" car called Hebmuller! They have other priorities you know, :?

So be a little bit more patience because for people who can wait everything came in time!!!!

Hi Guy's,

Thanks I'm fine !
I was very busy the last months ( year) With other (non VW) things ! 😞
Probably I have more time this winter, And I hope we are able to finish Et's car ! Et you forgot to mention your original engine and original gearbox with saxomatic clutch that was the biggest problem as you know ! But after a long time we did it , thats what counts !
Peter The dog didn't survive his last meal (ET)

Regards,

Guido

Looks good now, but looks like there was a lot of sheetmetal that was donated from the blue oval sedan when I have gone through the resto pics...?

I start to think that the eye sickniss of Rob is contagious because Hebster52 is up to glasses too now!!!
Where the fç@k do you see an oval being used for parts?
For your information its was a blue 1950 standard split window and not an oval window we used!!!

Wake up wash your face good and don't forget to rince the soap out of your eyes and take a look again!!!

I appologize for my misstake.. Is it the split to the left in one of the early pictures?

The front fenderwell just looked more like Oval than split but I surely saw wrong... :?

What happened to the sheetmetal under the firewall? One hole seems to be missing in the finished body? Maybe I'm wrong there too?

All in all A beautiful resto and good luck with it. You're going to have a great Heb when it is finished. 😃

Hello Hebster52,

And yes it is the blue split in the left of the early pictures!
Four genuine split fenders were used!
Which hole is that than?

It is these holes I'm refering to. Sedans have one and Hebs two as seen on your before resto picture to the left:

Hebmullers and early Kabrioletts have the two holes as the wiring harness have to go a different route on them compared to the sedan models.

Edit: I'm sure that Six-o-one or Bruce B can confirm or decline this info?

What I'm saying is that shouldn't there be 2 holes originally, as on this one too?

OK Hebster52, now you gave me something to worry about!
I will investigate that!
But I am not going to rely on the picture you show me there because there are a few holes there that shouldn't be there at all!
When I have the proper answer I'll come back to you, OK?
