Hi,

Carsten, are the black bows new rebuilt bows from Claus?

The shape looks correct. (The rear bow which are located above the rear window is more flat than the middle bow.)

The bows I bought from Claus was the opposite ( the rear bow above the rear window was more rounded, and the middle bow was more flat.

Maybe the template was mixed up during manufacturing of my bows as they does not seem to be correct.

The black ones I have are not from Claus.
They came with the car and where made by the previous owner after the originals that where in the old roof.

Next pieces done.

Mocked up the cardboard S-rod from the cardboard model I made in january.

After I did the mockup and took the photos I realized that I can make the S-rod much less curved. If I bend it inwards just like in the photos Carsten posted I can drop the S-rod on the inside of the sharp corner on the P-post.

What is the diameter of these steel bows? My guestimation would be 15mm?

You would be ok with 15 mm.
I measured 14,4 mm.

Still have this. No progress though due to other reasons.
