Hello. could anybody give me some advise, i want to fit a 1600 twinport engine into my 56 oval, i already have a 34hp flywheel just wondered what other problems i may come across when trying to fit a later engine. Thanks :)

A friend of mine has a 2.1 litre engine in his '57 and i don't think he had too much trouble getting it in. Thanks for the help. How strong are the stock split case gearboxes? would they take the extra power of the 1600 twinport engine?
